Programs We Offer

Youth Networking Program:
We believe that some of the greatest impact and change can be inspired and brought to fruition by connecting young ambitious minds with established professionals and role models.
This becomes even more crucial when underrepresented groups enter the picture. At Foundations First we both host and collaborate in the creation of periodic networking events where we merge our curious, ambitious, and often unrepresented youth network with diverse members of our professional rolodex. The ultimate goal of these events is to expose youth to a variety of fulfilling career paths and provide them with vital connections and mentors in their pathway to success.
These interactions can and do lead to monumental change. To be on the invite list for these events, as a youth or professional, head over to our member page and sign up as a community member.
Financial Literacy 101:
Whether we’re speaking to an auditorium or a small classroom, this presentation along with its interactive and content-relevant nature is sure to leave students with a sound understanding of need-to-know financial and economic concepts.
We focus on the importance and practical application of investing in equities, fixed income, and real estate asset classes, as well as pertinent information about credit, budgeting, and the economy.
All of these topics are preceded by interactive and real life examples that demonstrate clear relevance, importance, and applicable scenarios of everything we discuss.

Contemporary Critical Thinking:
At Foundations First, we believe that critical thinking is not only a cornerstone for personal development and future success, but also a crucial deterrent to poor decision-making. This unique, multi-part course will engage students in interactive activities, discussions, and real-world scenarios. Students learn how to question their environment, recognize biases, understand multiple perspectives, validate informational sources and approach problems with clarity. By focusing on both individual reflection and group collaboration, our youth sharpen the tools they require to face social pressures, adapt to new challenges, and thrive in this complex and turbulent information age.
From the pressures of social media to pervasive misinformation, this program teaches robust frameworks of thought which empower students to question, analyze, and evaluate the world around them, fostering confidence in what is the ultimate goal of this program; increasing the ability of our youth to make informed decisions.
This course has been specifically designed by Foundations First alongside world-leading academics, but perhaps most importantly, it has been informed by the very youth we teach.
